Weigh In #4 2013

This is a little late, as I weighed in last Tuesday. After losing a pound the previous week I wasn't expecting much, but I lost 1.5lbs. I was really happy with that. I don't think I've lost that much in a week for a while.

What I think is working is two things; one I'm eating more of a variety of foods, especially at breakfast and for snacks. I think shaking things up and eating different healthy foods has really helped. The other thing that is working I think is eating little and often. I'm finidng I need smaller portions of food more regularly to get me through the week with my new job with the travelling and early starts.

Last week as a good week, I felt there was a good balance. I ate healthy the majority of the week and had a meal out with my family. We went to Jamie's Italian. I had the most beautiful sole with roasted veg and potatoes, topped with spinach and rocket and drizzled with olive oil, lemon and chili. This was a healthy option but it was gorgeous. I didn't feel like I was missing out. It was cleary the best out of what we had all ordered as everyone had a taste and said so. I also had a medium glass of red wine, I don't drink very often but it was nice to enjoy one glass with my family. I said no to dessert and just had an Americano.

BMI at start of 2013: 23.3
Previous BMI: 23.1
Current BMI: 22.9

I hope that I can see another loss on the scales when I weigh in tomorrow. However, Aunt Flo has been paying a visit. I've stayed on plan and not eaten chocolate cake morning, noon and night.

  1. I love Jamie's Italian! I went there last week and it's just so good. I had the turkey Milanese. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants. Glad you had a good time and well done on the weight loss!

    1. It was the first time i'd been, it has been open for a few months where I live but not had the chance to go. I was very impressed and would go again.
