Beyond Dark Chocolate Drops Review & giveaway for Valentine's

Dark, rich, melt in your mouth little morsels of dark chocolate that are high in antioxidants - when Beyond Dark Chocolate Drops contacted me on Twitter and offered to send me some samples, how could a girl resist? Not this self professed chocoholic.

On my quest to live a healthier and happier life I have tried to swap milk chocolate for dark chocolate, as it is higher in antioxidants  Beyond Dark claim their chocolate drops are a "healthy indulgence"containing the same antioxidants level as 25 oranges, 8 bananas or 5 apples in every 35g bag. They state they are three times higher in antioxidants (more than 1000mg) than regular dark chocolate and more than 1500mg milk per 100g.

The lovely people at Beyond Dark kindly sent me a couple of bags to try and then they sent me a box with 12 delicious bags of their dark chocolate drops to experiment with. I have a delicious muffin recipe using the chocolate chips coming up for you in time for Valentine's Day.

The Beyond Dark drops are gorgeous. They have an intense rich chocolate flavour which is incredibly delicious - the company call their chocolate chips "drops of pleasure" (and they are!).

Can pleasure be measured? Can eating chocolate be more pleasurable then stroking a cute little kitty or receiving money. Watch this video to find out.

The chocolate drops are dairy, gluten and wheat free, but they do contain sugar, so (even though it may have been difficult) I have eaten them in moderation.

Beyond Dark are going to be releasing flavoured chocolate drops in the near future and I for one can't wait to trythem.

Valentine's Day is a week away and Beyond Dark have offered to send five of my lovely readers a box of their gorgeous dark chocolate drops. They are happy to ship to the US, so I am happy to announce that this giveaway is open to both my UK and US readers. But if you live elsewhere say in Europe please enter, if they are happy to ship to America, I'm sure they'll be happy to send their yummy choccies a bit closer to home.

To enter this giveaway and be in with a chance of winning all you need to do comment below with your favourite way of eating chocolate, whether that be scoffing a chocolate bar (I never do that honest) or baking with it.

The Beyond Dark giveaway will be open for two weeks, it will close at midnight on Thursday 21 February. I'll then pick five names out of the hat and announce them shortly after. To make it fair the winners will recive one box of Beyond Dark, if your name is picked out twice, I'll reshuffle and pick again.

Good luck!

  10. Mmmmmm, they sound delicious. My favourite way of munching chocolate has got to be while reading a great book by a cosy fire! I just have to make sure I don't have the whole bar beside me or it will vanish in an instant!

  11. Those chocs sound so delicious! My favourite way is putting some dark chocolate (or milk!) in the fridge and then eating a few squares in the evening. It takes a bit of willpower not to scoff the lot though!!

  26. Oh wow! I've never heard of 'Beyond Dark' before but these chocolate drops sound amazing! I love the packaging too! I use choc chips a lot in my baking and raw chocolate desserts and often struggle to find dairy free chips. Even the supermarket dark choc chips often have dairy in them!
I'm a huge fan of dark chocolate and eat or drink it every day (I guess that makes me a chocoholic too ;) It's got so many health properties to it though (especially raw chocolate) that I positively encourage my family to eat it. Already today I've eaten raw chocolates, drank a raw chocolate milkshake and tonight I'll be sharing a raw chocolate cream dessert with my hubbie and boy. Yep, I'm definitely a chocoholic ;)
