For this week's WIAW I haven't taken a full day's worth of foodie shots, I've been mega busy as of late, so are some of my recent eats. This week my photos have been taken on my iPhone 4, as I usually use my dad's camera, after mine broke, but he is on holiday this week, so my phone came to the rescue. My other half has lent me his camera to use now. When I get a little more money I'm going to invest in a fancier camera.
Head on over to Jenn @ Peas and Crayons to join in the WIAW party.
Some recent breakfasts...
Wholemeal and flaxseed pancakes topped with warmed apple and cinnamon drizzled in pure maple syrup. They were light, fluffy and incredibly tasty. I'll be sharing the recipe on Pancake Day next week.
Of course I couldn't not have oats featuring in my breakfasts. Although I have been trying to mix my meals up and not have porridge every morning, I still do enjoy a bowl of oats a couple of times a week.
Organic oats, ground flaxseed, unsweetened almond milk manuka honey and mixed seeds. Om nom nom.
Organic oats, flaxseed and unsweetened almond milk zapped in the microwave and topped with PB2 and banana.
I'd been craving Weetabix for a few days, so when I went to the supermarket at the weekend I grabbed a box. I usually avoid cereals with added sugar, but a little bit of what you fancy doesn't harm. I had with skimmed milk, Manuka honey, banana and a cup of tea.
Some recent salads...
Chargrilled turkey steak and feta salad. I had this one night for dinner when I wasn't massively hungry and it really hit the spot.
A weekend lunch of two boiled eggs, chicken slices, lettuce, houmous and carrot sticks to dip in the chickpea yumminess.
A recent snack...
I love Greek yogurt topped with no added museli or cereal, it makes for a tasty, healthy snack or a yummy breakfast. I added a banana to make it more substantial and filling snack.
A recent dinner...
Roasted peppers, mushrooms and carrot, baked chicken breast, baked sweet potato with organic goats cheese (which was tracked, weighed and account for) and a few cherry tomatoes.
"That's all folks!"
